PERIA KATAK TUMIS TELUR
Usually I will broil this vege and eat it with sambal belacan. But that day, suddenly I remembered that my mom used to cook bittergourd (the other kind) with eggs also. So I thought why not I try. So, here the recipes, just for some ideas for you out there who loves to eat peria katak. Peria katak ni the one yang kecil-kecil and mostly deep green coloured. Bagus untuk mereka yang ada masalah diabetes and high blood pressure.
2 biji peria katak - dibelah dua dan dihiris nipis (rendam dalam sedikit air garam untuk kurangkan pahit - jika suka - me myself tak rendam pun)
1 biji telur
1 sudu besar cili kisar (prepared)
1 sudu besar sos tiram
1/2 biji bawang besar - dihiris
Air
Sedikit minyak
Panaskan minyak, tumis bawang besar hingga wangi. Kemudian, tumiskan cili kisar dan sos tiram hingga wangi.
Masukkan peria dan sedikit air. Masak sehingga peria empuk, masukkan telur dan pecah-pecahkan hingga peria bersalut sepenuhnya dengan telur. Goreng hingga garing.
Note: Garam tidak digunakan dalam masakan ini.
