Meroti lagi

Semalam meroti garlic roll resepi Puan Azlita lagi, tapi kali ni aku improvise sikit dengan penambahan emplex (pelembut roti) dan susu tepung. Final resultnya, rasa dan tekstur tak lari sangat dari version asal. So, I guess whether u add emplex and milk powder or not, the result will be almost the same. Semalam buat 2 adunan, sebab nak bawa ke ofis as breakfast. Nak bagi kengkawan rasa...and to hear their comments so that I can improve in future. Semalam jugak, I added tuna flakes as the filling alongside the usual garlic butter. I also sprinkled some chopped sliced cheese on top of the dough. So nama kena tukar la kepada Tuna Garlic Rolls.

Meroti ni semalam. Habis bakar lebih kurang 12 tengah malam dah. Haqimie dan En K dah belasah satu sorang dulu.

Pagi ni, bangun awal sebab nak buat kuah kari untuk dicicah dengan roti. Memula nak buat kari daging, tapi tengok daging macam sikit, nanti tak cukup pulak nak bawa ke ofis. So, decide gantikan dengan telur rebus.

Lepas tu, tengok-tengok ada pulak kueytiow belum masak. Sebelum jadi tak elok, sebab dah beli 2 hari lepas kot, elok la aku goreng. Since ayam semua pun keras beku lagi, aku decide bubuh sliced sausage ngan sliced crabsticks aje. Lepas tu, masukkan kucai, sawi dan tauge. Tauhu pun aku letak jugak sebagai ganti kepada telur. Tanak la bubuh telur lagi, kan dah ada kari telur rebus.

Sampai ofis, kitorang breakfast ramai-ramai. Alhamdulillah...

Dinner semalam

Balik dari kerja semalam, teringat hari tu mak ada kata nak makan kerabu sotong. So, singgah la kat pasar mini area Seksyen 7 tu, beli sotong panjang besar 2 ekor, 1 ekor ikan siakap sedang, 2 ekor ketam (sebab mak nak ketam telur masin), udang, daging btg pinang dan brg2 merapu lain, RM80+, fuh mahalnya....aku rasa ketam ngan sotong tu mahal kot. Tapi takpe la sekali sekala apa salahnya kan.

Balik tu, terus start memasak. Memula masak daging masak hitam, favourite mak dan En K. Resepi asal dari Che Sue. Then buat kerabu sotong pulak. Ni resepi Cik Zawi@Alang, dua-dua pon my friends.

Makan lak time hujan, memang layan la.

Pastu, lepas siap kemas-kemas semua, datang pulak idea nak buat puding roti. Sebab puding hari tu tak berapa nak menjadi, maybe sebab guna agar-agar tali. So dia tak berapa nak beku. Semalam aku guna agar2 serbuk, hmm baru la jadi. Ingatkan nak bawa ke ofis hari ni tapi terlupa pulak, pagi tadi ada goreng kueytiow, bawa kueytiow pulak.

A review: World Cup 2010

I’m not a fan of football. And I’m not going to talk about Spain or Holland/Netherland. I don’t even watched the final and I don’t know who won until En Koji told me that afternoon.

I took a half day on Monday, because I felt so lazy to go to work. But I already bathed and ironed my clothes when I received M’s sms saying that she’s taking a half day. So…I switched on the computer and start facebooking … early in the morning. And I already decided to take a half day. I smsed J at 9.30 a.m. She didn’t reply until one hour later with the saying:

“Noted. Pls be reminded that u have a deadline to meet.”

I didn’t reply.

Movie: Toy Story 3

I never watched the first 2 movies, and I don't really into cartoons unless the ones from my childhood days like Smurf, My Name is Jem, and so on. But since I have two boys who loves cartoons so much, we went to watch Toy Story 3 at TCM. RM22 for all 4 of us. Great bargain. Ate at this café (3 cafes combined), I ate Teriyaki NZ Beef with rice and vege (nice), En Koji ate Nasi Ayam shared with Qayyum (and En Koji said it was sedap, which I think ok mmg sedap coz En Koji is not the ‘café’ type person so it must be really sedap then). Haqimie had Hailam Meehoon which I think also sedap la kot based on his concentration on that food.) And En Koji ordered Eggs Fried Rice which he said sedap also. So, it’s really worth coz I’m the one who paid for the dinner.

Overall, I never imagined that Toy Story 3 is such a great movie, at least to me coz I’m not a cartoon lover. But this movie is good, I laughed all the way and cried also, sedih la near-ending dia. At first I thought, alamak am I gonna watch cartoons? Haha… but seriously, recommended.

Anyways, works as always, hectic and headache. Got to finish the whole English Y6 by next week. She rushed us all with exception in F’s case. She’s so special indeed. She can always drag her deadline whenever she feel like to.

When I was gossiping with M yesterday’s evening near her car, suddenly I saw J at her car. Alamak, so we changed our subject quickly, and J called for me and told me that she’s going to watch Eclipse. So, me being covered up, asked her did she get her tix already? She said she bought it already last Sunday. Then she offered me to buy the tickets coz if she’s using her CC she can get 'buy 2 free 2' tix (which I think quite interesting but Cineleisure is not my fave cinema). Then, I said nevermind. She offered me again and again. When En Koji arrived, I told him about that and he said why not? So, embarrassed as I am, I sms J and asked her to buy the tix for me. Hahaha…what a shame. So, we got the tix for tonite’s show at 10 pm. Yeah 10 pm and probably ends by 12 am and tomorrow is Saturday and I’m working. Definitely great.

Hmm, J called me just now. She handed me some stuffs and also the tix. I gave her the money but she said she belanja me. She thought I’ll be going with my friends but when I said I’m gonna bring my sons along, she said, really aah? Yes, of coz, (I hope they can behave themselves though)..ahahah. Well thanx for belanja anyway. But all those came with some tazkirah (a short one) from her.

J: Sh** u know la rite, we are going to rush this project, if u think you can’t cope up, pls arrange ur time, whether u come early or stayback….

Duh…

Me: Hmm, I’ll see to it…(then cepat2 blah, before her ‘tazkirah’ become ‘ear candy’).

Well, yeay…am gonna watch Eclipse for sure tonite (or Edward to be specific). And I really hope the kiddos will behave, they should be.

Had lunch at Naina Mohamed KD with M and we met AM there. Sat at the same table (he asked us anyway), and we talked none other than office matters. I bought for them coz since J didn’t want me to pay for the tix, so I belanja them la. Amal jariah once in a while. Anyway, to me this mamak restaurant is very different from other of its kind. It’s cheaper and tasty altogether. Very worth for money.

First thing in the morning

As soon as I switched on the mac, I opened up the iTunes and listened to LUCKY, my current fave song.... Huhu can't get enuff of it....

My new toy (in the office)

Yesterday, me and Awein received our new toys - iMac G5 huhuhuh, suka setelah bertahun guna emac yang ketinggalan zaman. Even though the new ones also can be considered dah ketinggalan, but okey la.... even tho 2nd hand, me tetap suka....

I chose 17-inch screen so that Awein can use the 20-inch one.... baru la takde slow kalau bukak 2-3 programmes sekaligus....

Semalam EL

Semalam terpaksa EL, sbb petang Isnin tu nursery baru nak bagitau hari Selasa diorang tutup - something related to licensing. So aku cam alamak, dah la the day before aku 1/2 day. Tapi nak tak nak kena la amik jugak kan, dah la Qayyum pon dah start demam nak tumbuh gigi, meleleh-leleh air liur.

So semalam, agak sleepless la jugak since Qayyum meragam. So, resultnya, aku mengantuk sekarang nih.

1/2 day

Me took 1/2 day today, ada la something that cannot be neglected. Around 12.30 pm, went to the nearby restaurant to have our lunch. Thought nak makan ikan keli bakar, tapi dah abes, baru nak bakar new batches. Lambat lagi la kan, so amik la ikan keli salai masak lemak cili api - not up to my taste. Papa just had siput sedut masak lemak and plain rice.

Maybe am gonna stayback today till 8 pm :(

Keje lagi

Am supposed to be on my Saturday leave today, but due to so many works plus Awien is still on EL, me have to come to work. Sigh!

Giler boring! And Haqimie is having a fever.

Ni la kerja aku...

Actually, am in working mode rite now even tho it is lunch time. Terpaksa la, kan ke tanak stayback after work, luckily I brought some kuihs to munch on.

Late again

Ari ni lambat jugak, adeh la

Dah la si Mrs Boss suruh aku stayback, tak koser okeh... so I decided to replace the time at lunch hour.

Awien still x datang, maybe anak dia still tak sihat kot.

I'm late!

Heheh, title tu macam la tak besa datang lambat pulak.

But, today is different, I took off from the house quite early, but I dunno why, be it highway or normal road, everywhere were jammed this morning. A long, I mean very long queue, u see. Every other day memang la jam jugak, tapi today so packed! So, I arrived at the office at 9.30 am, that will make me have to stay until 6.30 pm la.

I'm keying in Geog F3's Jawapan coz the writer didn't provide the soft copy. Nasib baik la just, ABCD otherwise kalau macam SPM punya harus la very long sentences one. Even tho I dun mind to type but sometimes it will be quite tiring for me, am no Secretary yang used to typing, me type langsung takde etika, jari2 berterabur aje, ikut dan mana yang sempat ketuk je la.

Hmm, Awien still not coming. I wonder whether his son OK already or not. She didn't smsed me anything. Maybe at lunch hour time, I'll give a call/text to her.

Today Nisa brought keropok keping yang goreng pulak. Hmm lazat!

Still bz

Today am still bz like hell. Am continuing Geog F3 - 1st proofs which had been on and off due to I had to finalise English projects. Itu pun Mrs Boss ada gak menyelit asking me to do the analysis PMR. Duh!

For breakfast, I had mihun goreng + rendang daging. Nisa brought some keropok lekor that she bought from Terengganu, so I had some of them also.

Lunch hour, I just had 1 pc of fried popiah and 2 pcs of sardine and potatoes curry puffs each. Also some of the keropok lekor. Since I forgot to bring my own condensed milk, so I asked Mr Art Director to buy one for me. It's menjimatkan rather than u tapau from local mamak restaurant or buy the canned one from 7E, rite?

Awien's son still not ok, the doc said he got the asthma attack, and last nite she texted me saying that she had to overnite in the hospital due to her son's condition.

Line not clear

Mr Art Director buat kerja kat belakang aku, so agak terbatas la nak mengupdate blog ni. Dah la ari ni kena finalkan English F1 pulak, after lunch baru nak print tracing papers.

Yesterday, first time masak Ayam Asam Pedas, dah lama dah nak try tapi mcm takde kesempatan + takde orang yang nak merasa (I mean Papa la, dia kan payah sikit kalau masak lain dari kebiasaan).

Sebab selalu sgt tgk dalam mags, online recipes ramai yang masak ayam asam pedas, normally ikan tu biasa la kan. So I gave a try la. Hmm okey la, sama je rasa macam ikan asam pedas jugak.



Makan dengan cencaluk dan serunding daging yang Yong bagi ari tuh.

What a Friday?

Hmm memula nak citer what happened this very morning....

Ok... started with Haqimie's tantrum, dah mandi ngan Papa, tetiba buat hal apa ntah, tanak pakai baju pulak. Suruh masuk keta pon still tak berbaju. Dah la aku dan Papa memang dah lambat nih.

Dah kena cubit dalam keta baru nak pakai baju. Ok done.

Tetiba si Qayyum pulak, minum susu pastuh suap kuih seketul kecil alih2 dia muntah la pulak, on my lap! Adoi.... aku paksa Papa patah balik ke rumah, nasib baik tak sampai kat jalan besar lagi. Balik umah, macam malas nak salin baju, I just washed the affected areas and rub with Softlan, then amik baju spare untuk Qayyum salin dalam keta.

Skali aku tgk jam dah pukul 9 dah. Adoi la, sms la Mrs Boss kata anak muntah bla bla bla, dan direply dengan OK.

Sampai opis lebib kurang 9.30 am, ajak Awien gi pantry. Sambil basuh lagi baju kurung ngan Breeze pulak then terus buat morning coffee.

Hmm... today I have to take over Shima's work on Geography that she didn't manage to finish when she left the company just like that. Menyampah la nak sambung kerja orang yang takde sistem. Tunggang langgang ok style sheet dia.

Meeting

As predicted, Mrs Boss called us for meeting - none other about the 'cleanliness' of the office. See - Mrs PA is such a YM, kejap je dah buat aduan kat Mrs Boss.

Mrs Boss asked us who left the lunch boxes full with fungi in the pantry - as predicted also, Mrs PA accused one of us in the editorial and production department, but me being a witness, told Mrs Boss that I saw Koo, one of the marketing officer, ate at the pantry yesterday and left the lunch box(es). And us of course trying to defense ourselves since it was not us she can call the culprits. She said she will talk to the marketing officer.

Other arising matters, of course about leaves, EL, MC, bla bla bla and also our work progress.
