Alice in Wonderland (Update)

Just came back from Alice in Wonderland screening at Cineleisure. Well, I am quite disappointed actually, there's not so much 3D to be seen as I expected. And...despite the fact of Johnny Depp is the main reason I went and watch this movie, I found that this story is quite boring after all. But luckily the boys sit still. Just sometimes they didn't bother to wear the 3D glasses, maybe they felt uncomfortable.

All in all, I don't recommend for 3D viewing, you might as well watch the normal screening for Alice in Wonderland.

Journey continues ...

After checked-out from Kukup Golf Resort, we went to take a look at the infamous Tanjung Piai Resort. The place is quite interesting, with fishing spot and chalet for RM150 per night. I think it's affordable. The ambience is very nice. I can see some small swordfish under the bridge, but we didn't plan to stay there. So, we continued our journey to JB, which was very packed that day. So we decided to head back to Melaka and then PD.



Tanjung Piai Resort

Had our lunch at Melaka near Pengkalan Balak beach. We decided to check in at Emperor Hotel.

After breakfast the next morning (Monday, I took an AL), packed and check-out. We went straight to PD still using the back/old road. We reached PD around 3 pm. Then went straight back to Sungai Buloh, but before that we stopped by at Tesco to buy some groceries since my sister's family and mum will be coming over this weekend. Reached home around 10 pm, cooked for dinner. I just cooked fish head curry and chicken rendang.

Sungai Buloh > PD > Melaka > Johor = Exhausted

I took my Saturday off last week. En Koji planned to go to Pontian, not for leisure obviously, but on a special mission which yet to be revealed in here. So we started our late morning journey to Kampung Melayu Subang to have his favourite nasi lemak but unfortunately the restaurant is closed, so we just went to a nearby mamak restaurant. The maggi goreng that I had tasted delicious.

Then we headed to PD first, using 'jalan lama', meaning we used the Morib/Bagan Lalang sideways. We always love the sceneries throughout our journeys, which explains why En Koji always used the old road when we go back to Taiping.

Back to PD. We just stopped by and continued our journey to Melaka. We had our dinner there, which was surprisingly cheap. Can't believe it though. It was raining all the way. We stopped a various locations, to name a few, Muar, Rengit and so on. At last, we reached Pontian around 9 p.m. and desperately try to find a nice but affordable hotel to spend the night. Unfortunately, all the hotels in town were full. But somebody told us, there's a resort in Kukup. And so we went there, and alhamdullillah we got a room (which they called as villa, because of its individual rooms). The place is quite 'abandoned-looking' at night. The room was okay but they didn't provide the didn't provide the breakfast.

Alice in Wonderland

I was so looking forward to watch Alice in Wonderland...but so sad that most of the cinemas were fully booked until next week.

Mid Valley will have its launching tomorrow. How I admired those mushrooms that they decorated at the Centre Court. They were so...fairy tale. I will upload some of the pictures with the men behind the production team (which include En Koji of coz).

Oh Johnny Depp (the main reason I wanna watch this movie...)
