Dinner @ Tuesday 7 October 2008

No idea of what to cook actually, but I asked Papa to stop at a mini market nearby our house. I was thinking of cooking tom yam soup with ayam masak merah originally. I bought celery, carrot, oyster mushrooms, tomatoes, galangal, young ginger, daun sup and daun bawang. I also bought some prawns and ikan sardin since there was no other types of fish that I can choose from.

I didn't cook rice since there were some leftovers. So I just heated the rice - enough for me and the kiddos. I'll cook some other for Papa later.

Tom Yam Ayam dan Udang

3 kepala udang - dibersihkan
5 ekor udang - dibuang urat tengah
1 ketul sederhana isi ayam - dipotong dadu
1 ketul ayam bahagian tulang
1/4 biji lobak merah - dipotong dadu
4 kuntum cendawan tiram - diracik kasar
1 batang serai - diketuk
1 inci lengkuas - diketuk
1 inci halia muda - diketuk
2 biji cili padi - diketuk
3 sudu besar pes tomyam (botol)
1/2 biji limau nipis - diperah jusnya

Rebus kepala udang dan ayam (bahagian tulang) sehingga mendidih. Masukkan lobak merah, serai, lengkuas, halia muda dan cili padi. Didihkan sehingga ayam betul-betul masak.

Masukkan pes tomyam, isi ayam, udang dan cendawan tiram. Didihkan sekali lagi. Tutup api dan tuangkan jus limau nipis.


Telur Dadar Berkeju

2 biji telur
1 tangkai daun sup - dihiris
1 tangkai daun bawang - dihiris
1/2 biji bawang besar - dipotong dadu
sedikit isi ayam - dipotong dadu
sedikit udang cincang
1/2 sudu teh serbuk lada sulah
1/4 sudu teh garam
1 sudu besar serbuk keju parmesan

Panaskan sedikit minyak. Campurkan kesemua bahan kecuali keju dan pukul rata.
Dadarkan telur dan taburkan keju. Balik-balikkan sehingga garing.

p/s: Telur dadar tu resipi sendiri, first time buat. Tak sangka pulak Haqimie makan banyak.

Oh ya, tak jadi masak ayam masak merah.
