In conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia's Independence Day, we joined Enal and Yus to watch the firecrackers show at The Curve. We just went there by foot (yes, walked from Pelangi to The Curve - penat hoccay!). Luckily Papa brought the stroller along, so we didn't have to carry Lil Q.
Before that, we had our dinner at their place - sambal sotong, ikan cencaru sumbat - erm sedap!
Once reached the main entrance to the IKEA and The Curve, heard some voice calling us. OOooo rupa-rupanya Salwa (Along), Sofia, Kak Cik, Sheila (anak-anak Mak Ndak) together with Along's bf, Rahman dah ada melepak kat situ. So apalagi, join la kan, haku pon dah malas nak carik port len dah. Sambil-sambil sembang ternampak pulak Farah, the other cousin (anak Mak Teh).
Tunggu punya tunggu, yes keluar jugak firecrackers. Even though not as beautiful as in Putrajaya, but I guess it was still hillarious to see the firecrakers above your head!
Ramai jugak la bebudak Melayu yang ting tong and wearing outfits mengalahkan ca ya nun alif - merdeka ke?

We went back by foot again to Pelangi. At first we thought of going to spend the night at PD, but being me, I don't really fancy to go there without proper plannings, with insufficient supplies of clothes (I just packed whatever I saw would be convenient) and I'm so damn sure that there will no hotel rooms available, so I pujuk Papa to cancel the plan and he agreed but we spent the nite at Yus's place. Penat giler.... Luckily they have a massage chair so we took advantage to pamper ourselves.
Oh ya, before that sempat lagik pegi Tesco to buy pampers since we're running out some. On the way, tetiba ada orang grabbed my hands, terkejut la jugak. Rupa-rupanya, an old friend from LICT, Aisyah. Wow, she looks gorgeous (well, compared to few years back). She's much thinner and kellasss.... Cun la.... Tak sangka dia still ingat kat aku, lama jugak tak jumpa. Dia amik my phone number tapi haku tak sempat since handbag ada kat stroller yang Enal bawak.
