Nasi Goreng Daging Merah


This was the lunch for the kiddos (Mama tukang tengok dan tukang suap aje). Ada balance daging masak merah sahur tadi, so masak la nasi goreng style Cina untuk diorang. Tambah telur rebus sebab Qayyum suka.

Sahur 3 Ramadhan



Since Papa had requested Daging Masak Merah, so that was the dish for sahur on the 3rd day. I already did some preparation which includes marinate the meat slices in light soy sauce and red colour - feeling effect makan kat kedai tomyam kan ke daging dia kaler merah. Pastu up lagi dengan telur dadar. As for me, 1 pc of white bread and leftover beef curry. Then ratah-ratah daging masak merah.

Daging Masak Merah (No Salt Added)

Hirisan daging secukupnya - perap dengan pewarna merah (i used Star Brand) dan 2 tsp kicap cair

2 ulas bawang putih - cincang
2 hirisan bulat bawang Holland

3 sudu besar cili mesin (consists of garlic, onion, dried chlllis)
1 sudu besar sos tomato
1 sudu besar sos cili
1 sudu besar sos tiram
1 sudu teh kicap cair
Lobak merah, bunga kubis, cili benggala hijau, cili merah hiris

Panaskan minyak dan goreng daging hingga agak garing, angkat. Ketepikan.
Menggunakan minyak yang sama, tumis bawang putih hingga wangi. Masukkan cili mesin, sos cili, sos tomato, sos tiram dan kicap cair. Masak hingga terbit minyak. Masukkan sayur-sayuran dan bawang Holland. Setelah agak empuk boleh bubuh sikit air), masukkan daging, balik-balikkan dan angkat.

Popiah basah Section 14, PJ


Sedap macam dulu-dulu jugak, lebih kurang rasa Popiah SS Ali yang glemer kat Ipoh tu.2 years back it was 70 sen per piece, nowadays dah jadi RM1. Bila nak beli kena bq panjang.

FRIED SPRING ROLLS




Oh that Saturday night also I made some popiahs, at last!. But only rolled them out at 10 pm. But unfortunately, Papa also bought some popiah basah from Section 14 - sekarang dah RM1 seketul, wallahwei.

So tak laku la my popiah goreng. Tsk tsk....

Fried Popiah

Filling

1/2 paket mixed vege
1/2 handful dried shrimps
2 garlic - pounded with dried shrimps
1 tsp Maggi Cukup Rasa (Haqimie requested to be add in)
1 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
Minced chicken
(No salt added)

Heat oil and saute pounded ingredients till fragrant. Put in minced chicken and stir fry till quite dry. Add mixed vege, Cukup Rasa and soy sauce. Set aside.

Then gulung la popiah cam biasa.

Sahur 2 Ramadhan


On the way back from office last Saturday, I bought some beef from the stall nearby the road at Section 6, KD. Thought of making some rendang but when I walked inside the car, Papa requested for Daging Masak Merah for sahur bcoz that day he also cannot iftar with me since he's got to work.

So I cancelled to cook the rendang. I just cooked Beef Curry since I have to share with the kiddos. Takkan nak masak rendang pedas untuk diorang kan, kesian pulak. Since I was too lazy nak masak several different dishes pulak.

Iftar 1 Ramadhan



Berbuka posa sengsorang coz Papa keja. (Ekceli dengan the kiddos la). So since Papa was not around, I was lazy to cook something fancy. For myself I just cooked Ayam Masak CIli Padi and for the kiddos Sotong Goreng Kunyit.

Thought of making some popiahs but too lazy to do so.

Sotong Goreng Kunyit

3 ekor sotong - dipotong bulat, gaul dengan serbuk kunyit
1/2 capsicum hijau - dipotong memanjang
1/2 carrot - dipotong memanjang
sedikit kubis bunga - florettes
2 hiris bawang Holland bulat
1 sudu teh Maggi Cukup Rasa
1 sudu teh kicap cair
hirisan cili merah
2 ulas bawang putih - cincang
1 ulas bawang merah - cincang
kalau nak pedas, ketuk 2-3 biji cili padi
1 sudu besar sos tiram
sedikit air

Panaskan minyak, tumis bahan cincang hingga wangi. Masukkan carrot, capsicum dan bunga kubis. Masukkan sedikitair (untuk empukkan vege).

Masukkan sotong, sos tiram, cukup rasa, kicap cair, bawang Holland dan cili merah (dan cili padi).Balik-balikkan, angkat.

Nasi Beriani Segera

2 cawan beras basmathi
1 paket Perencah Beriani Segera Maggi
1 labu bawang besar - dicincang
2 ulas bawang putih - dicincang
3 hirisan halia
1 batang serai - diketuk
1 helai daun pandan - disimpul
3 sudu besar susu cair
21/2 cawan air
beberapa ketul ayam
1 sudu besar planta
1 sudu besar minyak masak
2 sudu besar kacang gajus - goreng tanpa minyak
1/2 pokok daun bawang - hiris
1/2 pokok daun sup - hiris

Cara-cara:
1 Panaskan minyak masak dan planta dalam kuali. Masukkan bahan-bahan cincang dan tumis hingga wangi.
2 Masukkan perencah beriani. Kacau rata. Masukkan ayam dan kacau rata, tutup api.
3 Sementara itu, basuh dan tos beras dalam periuk nasi elektrik. Masukkan serai, daun pandan, halia, air, susu cair, daun bawang, daun sup dan kacang gajus
4 Masukkan bahan-bahan tumis dan sedikit garam, kacau rata dan masak seperti biasa.

Sungai Sembilang






Papa brought to Sungai Sembilang yesterday evening because he wanted to do some fishing. Gian le tuh, lama tak pegi fishing.

Anyway, it was raining so there was nothing much to do. Saw some production crews and Anne Ngasri preparing to do some shooting.

She's beautiful.

Thought of having dinner at one of the ikan bakar gerai, but no table left. Full of customers, so we headed back to Uptown Damansara.

Hari ahad hari masakan segera. :)

Ni kes malam hari Sabtu lepas. Those kiddos kalau hari Sabtu and mamanya pulak keje, so bila balik dari taska, diorang dah takmo tido dah. so asik main whole evening, sudahnya pukul 9 pm dah tertidur. sorang tidur kat kaki tangga, sorang lagi atas lantai tepi sofa. Mama punya masak spesel berhias bagai.... last sekali Papa and me aje yang makan.

Vicchuda Kota Damansara

Sotong Masak Pedas


I guess Papa can be the ambassador of Vicchuda already. In a month, we will go there so many times. The menu will be the same for him everytime we went there. Must have sotong masak pedas and telur dadar. Apa yang sedap sangat haku pon tatau la.

While for me, mmg la boring nak makan kat sana. Dah tatau nak order amenda dah. every single thing pon rasanya dah try. Sometimes order kedai sebelah lagi...punya la boring ngan menu Vicchuda.

Tapi 3 layers tea mmg sedap.... tapi dah 2 kali pergi order tak dapat sbb dia kata base kaler hitam tu tak sampai-sampai lagi. Rasanya gula melaka pekat kot....

CintaRia @ DJ Cafe


Lamb Chops


Papa always love Dave's Deli Roast Chicken. So we went to Yus's friend's cafe (the owner originated the original recipe - FYI - Dave's Deli were sold to other people so the owner opened this cafe) at DJ to have a feast. Unfortunately, Roast Chicken were finished already by the time we arrived there. SO he had to order Grilled Chicken and I ordered Lamb Chops. For the kids, we ordered Mushroom Soup and toast.

The servings were huge. Grilled chicken comes with olio spaghetti, mashed potatoes and vege. Lamb chops with mashed potatoes and vege. And the mushroom soup was marvellous coz it was not like others - this type got plenty of mushroom's slices in it. Overall delicious (bertambah sedap sebab Linda belanja, thanx ya Linda).

Balik kampung







We went back to Taiping last July. (Yea, old story).

But those pixies were taken when we were on the way back to KL, stopped by Teluk Batik before heading to my sis's house in Setiawan then off to KL around 9 pm.
